Poolcenter.com did right by me!

I stumbled upon this website today, and although I was a pissed consumer, now I am very happy. I own a piece of **** swimming pool - needs lots of work, and it's constantly draining my wallet. I ordered some parts for my pool heater, trying to get some warm water going - and when I received them, one of the parts looked like it had been sitting on a shelf for 10 years. Dusty, dirty, dingy. PISSED! So, I sent an email to their customer service team, ready to do battle on this. Instead, they apologized, credited me back immediately, and then sent a (new) replacement! I was floored. I do have a very old pool heater, and maybe the parts available are dusty - but I just wanted a new one - and got it! POOLCENTER.com has my business from now on. Thanks.

PoolCenter.com return policy - BEWARE !!!

pool center.com return policy - BEWARE BEWARE OF POOLCENTER.COM RETURN POLICY I purchased a floating LED solar light from poolcenter.com that according to their website would "Create a rainbow of light in your pool this year with these beautiful floating solar lights."All it did was float around on the water blinking. It is not even powerful enough to reflect some color into the water. When I attempted to get a refund due to unsatisfactory performance of the product I was informed by a poolcenter.com rep. that the product could not be returned simply because I was not satisfied with its performance !!! I was also informed that the product was now considered used. The only reason it could be returned was if it did not work at all. This was not a cheap item - $47.00 plus with shipping.

Poolcenter.com is under new management. They are one of the best websites for parts out there on the net!

Later the same afternoon I received a call from the president of poolcenter.com. He informed me that he was issuing me a full refund which he did. He also, to his credit, took full blame for setting the policy.

Did you dispute the charge on your credit card? The retailer is not permitted to refuse a return for the reason they stated.
